The Wurlitzer Ballroom Concert Hall is not only a club for rock lovers, but also a place where you can enjoy music in all its diversity, either with DJ sessions of styles as varied as power pop, garage, punk-rock, ska, country, no-wave, or with live music, with a varied programme that supports live music and the musicians who make it possible, both national and international figures.
The venue has a large stage for concerts, a splendid sound system and professional technicians (from La Boca del Lobo and Gruta 77), a totally punk-rock industrial decor (with sixties-style wallpaper and lots of concert posters, both on the walls and along the underside of the huge bar that runs along the rectangular space). All this makes Wurlitzer Ballroom a haven for lovers of good music and all its imagery.
Open every day of the week from 22:00 and with a licence to finish in the early hours. A perfect place to stop by on any Tuesday to enjoy a good live performance or to end the after hours with the best music.
The venue is located next to Gran Vía, in Madrid's Central District.
